🐶 From Pet to Pharaoh: The Story of Malu 🐾
As dog owners, we know better than anyone how your life can revolve completely around a furry creature. As if they are the pharaoh... and you are their faithful servant. 😅
And believe us, they can really behave like it. Our Malu certainly can.
She has strong opinions about what toy she wants (anything else? No way), what goes on her menu, what route we walk — and our favorite assignment: hugs. Lots. Now. Right away. 🐕💅
Sometimes tiring, but that's exactly what makes her so unique. And why we love her. 💛
During our trip through Egypt in 2025 we became fascinated by the pharaohs and their stories. And suddenly we saw it: our Malu is a pharaoh.
Her pet name is Masnoe , or snout. When we heard about Pharaoh Hatshepsut, her new nickname was quickly born: Hatshepsnoet . 🐫👑
With a little help we made a beautiful portrait on real papyrus: an altarpiece for our little pharaoh Hatshepsut.
And then we thought: there are so many four-legged pharaohs all over the world.
