These terms apply to every order placed through furaoh.com. Please read them before you check out — placing an order means you accept them. We've kept the language plain. If anything's unclear, email info@furaoh.com and we'll explain.
1. Who we are
Furaoh is a UV-printing studio in Bemmel, The Netherlands, operating the website furaoh.com. You can reach us at info@furaoh.com. Our trade registration (KvK) and VAT number are listed in the footer of every page once registered; until then, contact us by email for the equivalent information.
2. Scope
These terms govern the offer, sale, and delivery of every product on furaoh.com — pet tags, keychains, and any other personalised item we publish for sale. They apply to consumer customers in the European Union. By placing an order you confirm you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
3. Prices
All prices on furaoh.com are in euros (€) and include 21% Dutch VAT. Shipping costs are shown in the cart and at checkout before you confirm your order. We may change prices at any time, but the price you see at the moment you confirm an order is the price you pay for that order.
4. How an order is formed
An order becomes a binding contract only after you complete payment and we send you an order confirmation by email. Until then, the order can be cancelled by either side at no cost. We may decline an order — for example, if a photo is unsuitable, if a delivery address looks incorrect, or if we suspect fraud — and refund any payment in full.
5. Payment
Payments are processed by Mollie B.V., a regulated Dutch payment provider. We accept the methods Mollie offers in your country (typically iDEAL, Bancontact, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We never see or store your full card number. Your order is queued for production once Mollie confirms payment.
6. Delivery
Production typically takes 2 to 3 working days from payment. Shipping then takes 1 to 4 working days within the EU, depending on destination. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees — we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control. Risk transfers to you once the carrier delivers the package to the address you provided.
7. Right of withdrawal
Under EU consumer law, you normally have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from an online purchase. However, every Furaoh product is custom-made to your specifications (your photo, your text, your shape). Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive excludes the right of withdrawal for goods that are clearly personalised. By confirming your order, you accept this exemption. If the product itself is defective or doesn't match what you ordered, the rules below on conformity apply — you're not stuck with a faulty item.
8. Conformity and reprints
We want you happy with what arrives. If a tag arrives damaged, mis-printed, or visibly different from your design, email info@furaoh.com within 14 days of delivery with photos. If the issue is on us, we will reprint the item at no cost or refund the price you paid — your choice. This does not affect your legal rights as a consumer to a product that conforms to the contract. This does not cover normal wear, scratches from daily use, fading from extended UV exposure beyond the expected lifetime, or damage caused by misuse (chemicals, hot surfaces, deliberate abuse).
9. Liability
Our liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages — including lost profits, lost data, loss of use, or any non-material damage — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded under Dutch or EU law (in particular, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).
10. Intellectual property
By uploading a photo to the editor, you confirm that you own the rights to that photo or have permission from the rights-holder to use it on a printed product. You grant Furaoh a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the photo solely for the purpose of producing and shipping your order, plus a limited internal use to improve the print pipeline (e.g. anonymous quality checks). We do not republish or share your photo. All Furaoh trademarks, product designs, page copy, and software remain the property of Furaoh and may not be copied, modified, or used without our written permission.
11. Force majeure
We are not in breach of these terms, and not liable to you, for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control — for example, strikes, supply shortages, equipment failure, carrier outages, government measures, natural events, or pandemics. If such an event lasts longer than 30 days, either side may cancel the affected order and we will refund any payment already made.
12. Privacy and data
We process personal data in line with our privacy policy at furaoh.com/privacy. In short: we collect what's needed to fulfil your order, we never sell your data, and we delete uploaded photos 30 days after delivery.
13. Disputes and governing law
These terms and any contract formed under them are governed by Dutch law. Before going to court, please email info@furaoh.com so we can try to fix it. If we can't agree, the courts of the district where Furaoh is registered have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own country.
